Caring Together:  A Community Workshop

June 24, 2026

Our first Caring Together workshop welcomed dementia caregivers from across the Campbell River area for an afternoon of learning, sharing, pracitcal ideas, and enouragement in a supportive community setting.

Caring Together: Community Workshop for Dementia Caregivers

This was the invitation to our very first Caring Together workshop.  It marked the beginning of what I hope becomes an ongoing series of opportunities for caregivers to connect, learn, and encourage one another.

Learning Together

Participants shared experiences, asked thouightful questions, explored practical caregiving strategies, and discovered they were not alone on their caregiving journey.

Sharing our Stories

One of the most meaningful parts of the afternoon was the opportunity to connect. Caregivers shared  experiences, offered encouragement, and learned from one another in a warm and welcoming environment.

A Heartfelt Thank You 💜

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make our first caregiver workshop such a meaningful afternoon.  Your openess, kindness, and willingness to share made the afternoon special for everyone.
